I am writing to thank Lisa for her help. It is greatly appreciated. I firstly met Lisa on 11th of March. I was redundant, I felt so bad. Lisa gladly accepted me and told me that she would help me to improve my job seeking skills.

My first class was on 15th of March, Lisa gave me some stuff and books. She analysed my situation and my financial state, then she explained how I should take a positive approach life. I told Lisa I had several problems such as English skills and my confidence. So she gave some good suggestions. For example, she encouraged me to attend some community activities to talk and play with them to improve your speaking skill and your confidence. Ending the class, she also gave me some homework. After the class, I was waiting the bus with two old ladies, I encouraged myself to speak with them. The interesting thing was that I was invited by old ladies to join their lady craft event. At the moment, I also attend this event and I also made many old lady friends.

At the second meeting, I told her I wanted to send my CV to some engineering companies. She was very happy and let me wrote down all the companies and positions. Then she taught me how to write cover letter and how to make strategies to deal with telephone call. She also asked me sent email about my CV which she needed to check and give me some feedback. At that time, I learnt lots of benefits about applying for the job and networking. For example, I received help with the presentation of my resume. I learnt Networking skills and how to approach companies directly.

At the third meeting, I told her I had feared the telephone interview and face to face interview. According those problems, Lisa gave me some special classes to practise me, such as I was encouraged to speak English on a regular basis and Lisa practiced with me on the phone and face to face a number of times. Also she taught me how to control nerves, how to prepare interview questions, how to answer those questions.
I learnt more and knew more than before. Also I gradually got more confidence. She is a great person to meet with. She have done an amazing job for me. I am very thankful and pleased for her efforts, it was excellent.

At the time i met Lisa my position had been made redundant and this was a very trying time for me. Although i was at the very beginning of my career in Human Resources i was keen to stay on the same track. Lisa supported me during this hard time as I was studying and having to look for a new role. She helped me to work on things such as my resume, interview techniques and most importantly helped me to gain back my self confidence and value to organisations. With the skills she taught me and the confidence she gave me I successfully secured a fantastic new role! Lisa was always supportive and encouraging and i thank her for all she has done.
